Enclave

2021 Buick Enclave

Buick's three-row crossover SUV was suppossed to receive a refresh this model year, but COVID-19 has pushed that back to the 2022 model year, meaning that the unchanged 2021 Buick Enclave might have a shortened model year.

Encore

2020 Buick Encore

The original Encore's offerings are reduced severely for 2021: the Sport Touring and Essence are no longer available, leaving only the Base and Preferred. In addition, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, memory driver's seat, auto dimming rearview mirror, navigation, Homelink®, automatic climate control and dual zone air-conditioning are all no longer available. Rain-sensitive sipers, ultrasonic parking sensors, forward collision alert and Lane Departure Warning are all now available on Encore Preferred.

Encore GX

Satellite radio is now standard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now wireless; there's no more need to plug in to control your phone from the Encore GX's touchscreen. Adaptive Cruise is now also optional on the Preferred.

Envision

The China-sourced crossover is all-new for 2021 model year. The previously optional 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder is now standard, with the 2.5 normally aspirated motor discontinued. A nine-speed automatic is now that only transmission offered. The 2.0 turbo engine is not the previous 252-horsepower variant, but the 230-horsepower version shared with the Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Acadia.

Styling is much more distinct and up-market, with lower profile headlamps and chiselled sheetmetal. Tasteful chrome trim highlights the front fascia openings, windows, rear bumper and the side sills.

The wheelbase is over an inch longer, which adds almost two inches in rear legroom and should contribute to a smoother ride and more stable handling. Overall length is actually reduced by a little more than an inch; this results in a very slight (about 5%) reduction in cargo capacity, but at 25.2 cubic feet, it's still adequate. Fold down the rear seats and you get 52.7 cubic feet.

Safety equipment is upgraded significantly: forward collision warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist and IntelliBeam (automatic high beam) Headlights are all now standard on all models.

A new Avenir trim is the top model and it brings a lot of standard equipment, including a new driver's massaging seat.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, so you can stream your music, control certain apps and use hands-free texting without connecting with a cable.

The power, hands-free liftgate is no longer standard on all models, becoming optional on Premium and not available on the base model.

Regal

The Regal is discontinued, leaving Buick car-less. The Sportback and TourX are both now retired.
