Q40
After disappointing sales for the Q50, the replacement for the highly praised G37 Sedan, Infiniti brought back the G, renaming it Q40. Sadly, it no longer offers a manual transmission.
Q50
Larger rear tires are no offered on the Sport Package: 265/35R19.
Q60 Convertible
Q60 Coupe
The Q60S Limited replaces the Q60 IPL Coupe, but loses the 348 horsepower engine, It'll have to make do with 330 horsepower.
Q70
A minor refresh with new trim and a refreshed interior livens up the Q70 as it changes name from the M Series. LED headlights replace xenon, befitting its station as the Infiniti flagship, and a new long-wheelbase version will please Chinese Communist officials as their chauffeurs drive them to meetings. An Around-view monitor is now offered. Standard leather has been replaced by "Leatherette" in 3.7 models. Leather is part of the Premium Package, which is offered at no cost, and also includes cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Q70L
Mechanically unchanged from the M Series, the new Q70 now offers a second, longer wheelbase model. The wheelbase is almost six inches longer. Overall length is up by about eight inches. The only interior dimension that changes is rear legroom, up by 5.6 inches to a generous 41.8. The Q70L only weighs about 100 pounds more than the standard model. Surprisingly, no extra luxurious accouterments are offered for the rear passengers of the Q70L beyond heated rear seats in the Premium Package.
QX50
QX60
Changes to the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) bring smoother shifting and improved fuel mileage. 21 city/27 highway FWD (up from 20/26); 19 city/26 highway AWD (up from 19/25). QX60 Hybrid mileage stays the same: 26 city/28 highway FWD; 25 city/28 highway AWD.
QX70
The 5.0 V8 model is gone, leaving only the 3.7 V6.
QX80
The QX80 gets a refresh inside and out, but no mechanical changes. Same 5.6 V8 and 14 city/20 highway fuel mileage. The QX80 gets new LED headlights with automatic switching high beams. The fog lights are also powered by LEDs. The optional forward collision prevention is modified to also track vehicles further ahead than the one directly in front, helping to further reduce the chance of an accident. Length grows by about half an inch. All other dimensions, including seating, are unchanged.
