MKX
This all-new mid-size sport utility crossover is the sister to the Ford Edge, which was redone for 2015. The Lincoln MKX keeps it's standard 3.7 V6 with 303 horsepower, but adds an optional 2.7 twin turbocharged ECOBoost V6 with 335 horsepower. Fuel mileage is the same or better than the 3.7. In the suspension department, the MKX now offers a magnetically controlled variable dampening suspension to smooth out the ride while keeping handling sharp. In other news, the new MKX has no spare, just a tire repair kit and a number for roadside assistance. New safety features include optional Lane Departure Warning, which warns if you're drifting out of your lane and then pushed you back, and an Active Braking System will automatically brake to prevent a collision. Standard knee airbags and optional inflatable rear seatbelts are also new.
MKZ
Fuel mileage on V6 AWD models has been downgraded to 17 city/24 highway from 18 city/26 highway last year. No other changes.
