Cherokee
Sport models now offer the optional 3.2 V6. Limited models offer optional Qi charging, a system that will wirelessly charge compatible devices or devices with Qi compatible cases.
Compass
Limited trim is eliminated, leaving only Sport and Latitude. Most features of the Limited become optional on the Latitude. Satellite radio and bluetooth are now standard on all models.
Grand Cherokee
The 3.6 Pentastar V6 engine adds variable valve lift to its variable valve timing. Variable valve timing improves engine breathing by changing when the valves open and close depending on engine speed. Variable valve lift can change how much the valves open, improving power and fuel mileage. The variable valve timing system is also improved and a start-stop system is added. Horsepower is up 5 to 295.
Patriot
Limited trim is eliminated, leaving only Sport and Latitude. Most features of the Limited become optional on the Latitude. Automatic headlights are now optional; standard on Latitude. A rearview camera is now optional. Satellite radio and Bluetooth are now standard.
Renegade
Coming out of a short first year, the 2016 Renegade will add the availability of a Beats audio system and rain-sensitive wipers. Auto-dimming rearview mirror availability increases: optional on Latitude and Trailhawk, still standard on Limited.
Wrangler
2016 Jeep Wrangler Willys 2dr
A new Black Bear Edition is offered, not to be confused with the Bear Grylls edition, which allows the driver to drink its radiator fluid. Willys Wheeler, Freedom Edition and Rubicon Hard Rock Edition all return. Automatic day/night dimming rearview mirror is now listed as standard in press materials we've received, though power side mirrors are still an option. Satellite radio is also now standard.
