Ram 1500 Pickup

A new frame is underneath the mostly familiar (new grille for Laramie Limited and Rebel) body of the Ram 1500. Engineered to ace the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Small Overlap Frontal Crash Test, the frame will make trucking safer. The new top-of-the-line Laramie Limited continues from its late 2015 introduction, along with the Rebel, a truck with off-road attitude.

Ram HD 2500/3500 Pickup

The torque and towing wars continue as the Ram 3500 upgrades its highest output Cummins diesel to 900 lb.-ft. at 1700 RPM, up from 865 last year. Maximum towing goes from 30,000 to 31,250 pounds in a Ram 3500 Regular Cab 4x2 Dually with the top diesel engine. Front sensors have been added to optional ParkSense, helping drivers park the beast without crushing small Fiats left laying around by careless owners.

A chrome grille is available. You can now get side and rear windows in the super extended high roof model.

Bluetooth will become standard sometime during the 2016 model year.
